Earlier this year we hired Reflections Management and Care to help with my mom when I traveled. My mom is a type 1 diabetic with an insulin pump. Recently, when I was gone my mom had problems with her insulin pump. The nurse assigned to my mom worked closely with the doctor’s office to keep my mom from going into a life threatening situation called diabetic ketoacidosis. The nurse worked through an extremely complicated and difficult situation with compassion and professionalism.
Case managers use skills like critical thinking and empathy to make patients feel empowered and at ease, that is exactly how Lindsay and her team work with families. They help their patients and families understand their options concerning the specific situation they are dealing with at the time while maintaining dignity and respect for all involved.
The team of caregivers at Reflection’s have been a life saver for my family and mother. Having someone manage the daily care for my mom has taken the burden off of our family, so we can live our lives with some normalcy.
